- Avoid Sun Exposure: Stay out of the sun and avoid tanning beds for at least two weeks before your session. Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen if you must be outdoors.
During Your Treatment
- Protective Measures: You will be given protective goggles to wear during the procedure to shield your eyes from the laser.
- Numbing Gel: A numbing gel may be applied to the treatment area to minimize discomfort, especially for sensitive areas.
- Laser Application: The laser device will be adjusted to your skin type and hair color. The laser emits a concentrated beam of light that targets the hair follicles, causing them to heat up and inhibit future hair growth.
