Our founder is a Board Certified Doctor of Internal Medicine with over 20-years of experience focusing on women’s health, beauty, atrophic vaginitis, and weight loss treatments. Avoid plucking, waxing, or electrolysis for at least six weeks before your scheduled treatment.
Shave the treatment area 24 hours prior to your appointment to ensure the laser can effectively target the hair follicles.
For sensitive areas, a numbing gel may be applied to the treatment area to minimize any discomfort.
The laser device will be adjusted to your unique skin type and hair color. The laser emits a concentrated beam of light that targets and heats the hair follicles, inhibiting future hair growth.
You may experience a warm, prickly sensation or feel something akin to a rubber band snapping against your skin. The treatment duration can vary greatly, from just a few minutes for small areas like the upper lip to over an hour for larger areas like the back.
